Welcome to the CARSYouth website.  The website was designed by the Canadian Automotive Repair and Service (CARS) Council to give young people and their parents a realistic picture of the rewarding careers in the motive power repair and service industry.

 
When making decisions about their career, research shows that young people are influenced most by their parents and by people who work in the fields they are considering.

Information alone is not enough.  Person-to-person contact is the most effective way to attract new employees and to put a positive face on the industry.

Your involvement is essential.  The Employer section will provide you with strategies and presentation tips that you can use easily and effectively to help present an accurate image of the industry and to assist today's youth in making informed career decisions.  Not only the industry, but you will benefit from the greater respect and status given by a well-informed public.
